Caring for KloudSac Bean Bags
Taking care of your Kloudsac not only keeps it looking good, but also extends the life of your sac. By following the Care and Cleaning instructions below you will ensure your Kloudsac is as good looking as it is comfortable.
Caring for your bean bag cover.All Kloudsac covers are extremely dirt and stain resistant, however, there will be times when you may need to provide some form of cleaning to the outer cover.
Whether you Kloudsac cover is our Velvet, Linen or another of our great fabrics, most of the time spot cleaning will be more than adequate to remove a dirty spot or mark on your cover. Using warm water and a specialist upholstery cleaner, gently wipe down surface to remove general dirty areas. Liquid dish soap is an example of a mild detergent. Don’t not use abrasive cleaners because they may etch and discolour your fabric. Once this is done you should gently dry areas with a dry cloth to remove any dampness on your Kloudsac cover. When vacuuming the floors in and around your Kloudsac, give your Sac a hand vacuum from time to time for extra protection.
From time to time, it is a good idea to give your Kloudsac cover a full wash. To do this; fully unzip the outer cover and remove it off your inner-sac. Once your Kloudsac cover is removed from your inner-sac zip up the cover and give it a cold, gentle, hand wash with a mild detergent. We recommend that covers are allowed to line dry in the shade & covers should NEVER be placed in a dryer. WARNING: DO NOT IRON COVERS!
Innersac’s should never be opened – this will create a huge mess. If your inner-sac’s foam ever gets wet, place inner-sac in an elevated, well ventilated area.
Keeping your Foam Soft & Full.Continually fluff your Kloudsac product as often as possible, the more you fluff up your bag the softer and fuller it will stay. We recommend you sit, flip, flop, turn and bounce on your Kloudsac bag as much as possible. It is a good idea to give it an extra fluff every now and then.
The quickest and easiest way to do this is by placing your hands on either side of the bag and compressing inwards or rolling your bag and pressing the lumps towards the centre of the bag. This process will ensure your foam bean bag is always kept in “as new condition”.
Proper Use.Kloudsac foam bean bags are built to last and as such have high durability standards. However, to keep your Kloudsac in good condition for a long time, here are some quick general guidelines.
- Do not place Kloudsac on rough surfaces (i.e. concrete, outdoor surfaces)
- Do not jump on Kloudsac’s.
- Avoid sitting in Kloudsac while wearing clothing/accessories with sharp metal edges. (i.e. belt buckles, wristbands, jewelry)
- Keep away from animals with claws and/or sharp teeth that can puncture the fabric.
- Avoid leaving your KloudSac Bean Bag in areas of direct sunlight for long time duration so not to have any colour fastening.
